Here's a great example of what a every-weekend bike should look like (https://imgur.com/a/aMKLI#0)... (photos)

2008 (k8) GSX-R600 in orange & silver + extras - $9,900 ONO*
22,000km on the clock
*Will go with closest bid.

Available from the 25th of May...
Will be fully serviced one last time (24k service) by George from MotoMD before I hand it over. I love it that much. Reg & Wof of course.

edit: work done this week includes:
New front master cylinder and flush.
New rear brake pads
New steering head bearings

Garaged (the cage lives outside) and cared for meticulously - always warmed up, even just for a short motorway jaunt.
No track days, no racing (I'm a wuss), the occasional sprint down SH22, but there's hardly any room to push the needle so needless to say; never bounced off the redline. Over all she's a pussycat and I've treated her well.

Purchased from Colemans Suzuki (paperwork available) and serviced exclusively by George from Motorcycle doctors.

Suspension setup for a (barely) 70kg rider, so if you're a porky bastard you'll want to change that.
Ladies - you'll likewise want to get that suspension tweaked if you want to track it.

Stuff:

K&N air filter.
Yoshi-R55 slip on exhaust.
Yoshimura Tail Tidy.
Oggy Knob crash protectors, and front axle sliders.
Paddock Stand bobbins.
Continental Road Attacks (about half worn - front & back)

And....

Ventura Pack Rack - THE WORKS
L-brackets + Pack Rack + Sport / Grab handle + 2x Venture bags! (one is old, one is almost new)
Pillion seat + Pegs
Pillion seat race cowl (one seater)
Pillion seat expanding bag - check it! (http://www.thecycleguys.com/)
And of course I've got all the stock bits (never used).

Awesome bike, great memories but I'm leaving with my partner to live in the UK and it won't fit in my checked luggage. All the better for you! :)

When you're done with your GN you should buy that one.

It's a great deal. Chuck a Yoshi on there, some crash bungs, a tail tidy, buy a pack rack and some luggage, on road costs... - it'll cost another 2 grand... So I guess it depends on how wealthy you feel.

Anyway, your input it appreciated. Also I'm open to offers so if you're actually looking to buy...

Ps. Those colours are heinous.

Not including on-road costs - if we're going to be picky about it.

In all fairness though, your bike is one damn sexy looking machine that appears to have been well looked after, and I'm sure that whoever buys it is going to get a very nice bike indeed.
Good luck with the sale.

Their current price is indicative of what they're really worth. Lovely for their customers who've bought one during the year... not only did they fuck them in the arse on the price, they've kicked them in the nuts after the fact too. Would it be so fucking unreasonable to price them fairly in the first place?

Ummm. Maybe. Or they're trying to move excess stock. I've seen a lot of 2011 models (i'm guess they had a heap left over in Japan and are trying to make room for the new models now that summer's over

Considering that Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha still have their sticker prices set between 18-20k for their 600SS models I'm going to say that Suzuki are loss leading with these. You could say they're not fairly priced in the first place. But life isn't fair - is it?

Still doesn't help me...

No, they are now in line with international pricing, this is the price they're supposed to be.
