How much would this bike be worth? I'm content using it for commuting and I'd only sell for a decent price.

There's usual wear - scratches and the like. The tank is fine and it doesn't appear to have ever been in accident.

I hear that they're pretty special due to being one of the last unrestricted Japanese bikes.

It's just had a good service, tyres replaced, and a fuel leak fixed.

Cheers

About 2500.

It's precise value will depend on just how tidy it is.

Unless you have extensive knowledge of 25 year old bikes you're probably going to overestimate its value based, entirely rationally, off what people ask off trademe. Some people do actually pay those prices, people who can afford it and want specifically what they're buying.

If the length of time it takes to sell and the number of people who will ask about it simply doesn't matter to you then you should sell to the same overpriced market everyone else with a 20 year old 250cc for does.

Otherwise you should try to sell it to the people who are likely to buy it. There are some personal judgements involved but it's pretty obvious your best possible sell price will come from one dude who wil pay l well outside the normal market.

Either sell to him or sell to guys looking at.Scorpios and Hyosungs that are 15 years younger.

Thanks for the reply. I reckon I'll put it up on Trade Me at some point and let it sit there until somebody bites.
