Yeah I’m a badass, I’m riding my dirtbike on the road & I haven’t even had a shave.
The Missus is a wicked Stunt rider -ex Crustys I think, doesn’t even wear a helmet. And check out those Hundies we’re throwing around.
Oops, here comes officer Donut.
Lets go in different directions.
But - oh no! Now we’ve been foiled by some plastic blocks on the road and can’t bring ourselves to go off road on our dirtbikes, best we park them up here & run.
Oh drat! Our unhealthy lifestyle means the vigilant protector of the public has caught us. We’ll probably have to go to Lego jail until we are reformed.
I think I’ll look angry.

I seem to remember Lego having more creative options when I was a young-un, doesn't look like them bikes and car body panels would be much good to build space ships with...

I missed the bit about the Swiss?

I have many objections to this.
First off - Lego isn't Swiss, Lego is from Denmark.
Next off - Lego has done many different models portraying various different things/peoples/activities etc. without bias.
Lastly - SPACESHIP!!!!

Why would you make that assumption? I could be a seasonal fruit picker paid in cash?

I was being lazy and making gross assumptions based on a picture.

She's a redhead, right? They're the ones that'll get you in trouble....

I think it's more you just don't have the imagination you used to. My niece wouldn't even think that was a bike looking at it, she'd just try and eat it, therefore it looks like food to her

Nah, it's not that cos I distinctly remember the bits we use not being all that fancy and molded like that. I don't think that counts as imagination, just stupids, here's hoping she isn't primary school level yet...

In the first picture, what was the constable holding in his right hand? A donut (or a danish)? A firearm? His extraordinarily large penis?

Or caravans, boats, trucks, cars, planes, houses... hell... whatever you could imagine
Build a launch so big you ran out of blocks to build an equally impressive truck and trailer to pull it... ;)

Yeah I know. Ever tried breaking a window with a plastic block!? Wooden ones are fine ... but plastic ... whole new level of commitment required.

Who's angry? My kids 5th Birthday netted some stash of Lego & Angry birds. I figured this would be hell funny. i mean look at my first post C'mon, its comic genius if I say so myself.. . . well I laughed [sniff] I'm going to go eat some worms.
What I'm surprised about is how serious this thread got:crazy:

Being brainwashed into a lack of imagination makes you stupid? Would hate to be your kid =P
She's yet to earn even one tally mark on the wall so there is hope to brainwash her yet.
And they really got into the molded stuff a decade ago. My little brother had all these robot things that I thought were shit to start with, but he made all sorts of things out of them in his noggin. He's just working up to the bank robbing stage once he figures out how to make his lego gun work.

No, I think that imagining everything is food does though, personally I'd make my kids wait until they know the difference between food and not-food before giving them legos. I mean think how much those fuckers hurt when you step on one, then imagine having to shit one out :pinch:
Exactly, a decade ago I was playing with welders, not legos. 2 decades ago more imagination was required...

Duplo. Harder to swallow. Dunno if it's still around though... even compatible with lego!

When I first started playing with lego, heck approaching 4 decades ago, the coolest thing was the modular motor.
When I was about 9 there was a myth that with a brand new set of batteries & a long flat section as a propeller, you could just get the motor to hover. (prop angle & downforce were not in our vocabury clearly).
No one had a brand new set of batteries so it was hard to debunk, but it was a cool thought. Like xray specs & sea monkeys.

Long black slimey ones slip down easily
Short fat fuzzy ones don't ...
Naaa bro .. we still love you (in a very platonic sense ...)

Not a fan of the newer molded parts, even less of the stickers. My desk here at work looks like some sort of Technic convention. Racing Lego IR Monster Trucks beats working.

Oh hell yes! We did the lego technics thing at school (I guess one of the future evolutions of that) where you could program them to bowl around the room and make left or right turns after bumping into or detection things, depending what bits you had.
Pretty sure lego spawned the seed for all that robot wars stuff from the technics kits and kids in the classroom.
