As I write this I am sitting in the Kaitaki plus lounge on the ferry heading to Wellington.

It cost $40 and IMHO its the best $40 I have spent all year. Its quiet and there are no little ankle biters running around. It has a free all you can eat meal. The fridge is full and the expresso machine makes a good coffee and it has free internet access.

I'm definately going to do this again.

The only problem is its on the starboard side and the ships superstructure is blocking my access into the wellington Ham repeater. Fuck life is tough.

I used to use the Club Lounge in the Arahura, it was only $15.00 big armchairs and free tea, coffee, and biscuits.
Rule number 1: No kids allowed.
