That is sad news, many great memories of his comedy especially when teamed up with Adrian Edmondson. The Young Ones, Bottoms, etc. (especially the Gasman scene) Only 56, gone too soon. RIP Rik Mayall

I thought of the Curry-house scene in "Bad News" but sadly Youtube appears to have the full film, the Bohemian Rhapsody vid and that's it, so you'll have to go watch that.

It certainly was for me, never really watched much telly when a young fella. Then not the nine oclock news and the young ones found me, and I was hooked.:Punk::Punk:

One that seems so apt,
This house will become a shrine, and punks and skins and rastas will all gather round and hold their hands in sorrow for their fallen leader. And all the grown-ups will say: "But why are the kids crying?" And the kids will say: "Haven't you heard? Rik is dead! The People's Poet is dead!"
