Secret is to be calm loading them as they can tell when one is uptight and then they'll play up.

Female members of the family do all their horse related stuff, I can't stand them.

Ditto to that. A friend of the family who has been farming/horse training for 50 years got kicked in the face. He lost a lot of teeth and was never the same.

Funnily enough horsey women get kicked in the head a lot. It makes them more horsey. Listen to them laugh. I rest my case.

I guess the breed of the horse doesn't matter, its the temperment of the animal that counts. Someone told me that having a big window in the front of the float helps. Me, when I go behind any horse I like to leave a decent gap between me and the back legs.

Wouldn't worry ole Chukky.
