Overheard a few talking about it at work today but nothing about dates one guy mentioned $160 or similar,anyone tell me if thats so and when?Have 2 cars coming due but if indeed thats true theres no point in paying more than i have to.

I heard rego was to drop, but road user charges and fuel to rise. :scratch:

:wacko:No idea,from what i overheard it was only cars (petrol),diesals/bikes etc were to remain the same.

Same time child support was supposed to be means tested. Was going to be February........

Indeed,never took any notice before but just had a look at the paperwork,theres a $10 difference to rego a 1.3l Mitsi hatch and a 5.4l Falcon ute:wacko:Then theres the huge jump to a 1l motorcycle.:tugger:

I always have something to rego -his/her car, motorcycle, trailer .... juggle them depending on funds - been a few 3 monthly lately :weep:

I'd say. There is no talking your way out of it once pinged due to the process apparently. I honestly 'never drive' the car in my own mind so was surprised when I checked, although I have lent it out to a fair few people when I think about it.
My first Safari was 55k (as in 55,000) over when I got it. Added up what that would have cost if pinged. House deposit territory :eek5: Think it was about 3.5k to get it even again.

Is it true older motorcycles (40+ years ?) get reduced registration fee's ?
SWMBO has never been to the New Zealand and I would like to show her, a favourable experience might suit my longer term agenda :shifty:

Tis true Les,wee Motorsport i bought will cost bugger all to register ie 40+ years old is around $115.
