... granted I went in thinking I was going to be bored off my tits, but I'm glad to say I enjoyed it. I'd have had to. Started at 6:30 and middle daughter wasn't on til 8:15. We found out when we got there and the doom fell even heavier. Fuckin loved it. Wish I knew what was being said, but hey, the kids did it well.

I take it kapo kapo is not the noise that Batman used to make?

They can get very emotional at times, just something about them. Went to a Kapa Haka in queenstown one night and was nearly sobbing at one point, just the energy coming from the stage was that intense. Did not openly blub like I do when I hear the bagpipes though.:2thumbsup

Nooooo... but middle daughter was so wound by the time she got home that she nearly got Kapow'd.

I never quite got that far, but felt the energy alright. Might give up smokes and take up Kapa Haka.

There's nothing quite like the joy of hearing the bagpipes fade into the distance.

They shaved up, sang and danced a bit too well to be chimps... imho.
