There are 5 of us going for a ride on Sunday 18th September, everyones welcome to come along.
We'll start from Mc D's in Greerton at 9am
Head up Pyes Pa Rd and take a break by the lake at Hamurana (by the shop)
Take SH5 to Okoroire for Lunch
Go home via the Kaimais.
There are a couple of newbie rides joining us so the pace will be slow-mid but all that means is the fast guys will need to wait at the rest points longer.
Thanks

I might be hanging around this Sunday on the bike (assuming suzuki actually get the shocks in), so if you see me, yell some abuse! Im still getting the hang of it all again, so if I don't wave, look for the head nod thing :ride:

A word of warning, but you lot probably know anyway. The Pyes Pa road has some washouts on it, and has been wet the last times i've been through during the middle of the day

Not sure if I will be there after all.. Old shocks sent to koni/ikon in Auckland to try and find something that matches, as the hagon ones had to be returned (along with boxes from two other people with the same problem). Fingers crossed! :wait:

Hey guys, I'm new here tho Ive had a browse thru now and then.
wouldn't mind tagging along on this if that's cool.... Im not a fast rider, and may even have the missus on the back which'll slow me down so much a nifty50 would give me a run.

Better take your brollies, chaps. The latest forecast is for rain, often heavy...

Update on shocks: Koni/Ikon are sending some down - they believe they will fit, however they do have a 5-6mm offset at the bottom. I don't know where the offset is, or how it is going to work with the bike, but im willing to try anything at this stage!
They said the offset is at the bottom, so thats at the cylinder end, not the rod.. I believe. Oh well, I asked for Saturday delivery, suzuki said they would try, but I will just have to wait and see.
*fingers crossed*
