Rode one in the 80's when I had the Kwak' ZL1000 ZL1000 (Eliminator). The Kwak 'answer' to the V-max....
The Fazer FZX was nick named the baby V-max.... Not as highly tuned as the FZ750 the lump is taken from, but had good acceleration (for the day) and fair mid range.... Low K should be good, but would do research as to bodywork spares cost, availability... I'm gonna guess a bin would end up cost mega dollars to fix.
If you want a good 'naked' with a little different look, compared to todays 'naked's? then I'd go for it. (after researching the spares situation)

yea sure, they re tuned it to have more midrange punch than the FZR, and it suits it well, I own and have ridden many bikes but this
thing is a heap of fun to ride, The early FZR1000 drops straight in......same motor, just a couple of really small mods like gear change shaft swap and CDI, I have mine down for a refurbish and will carry a few little mods, plenty of parts on evilbay,
might even post the build here...cheers:niceone:

Interesting... there used to be a hot FZ750 in the bay, apparently the guy got a Factory SBK kit for it on the cheap when the new generation sports bikes came out and took over...
Had to google to see what it is, never heard that model before, oh er I'd ride that though :)
