I've got a ZXR250C and the bike needed a bit of work done to it to look presentable and I've done the basic maintenance jobs that need to be done.
-new front subframe and fairings
-new indicators
-new headlight
-changed oil and oil filter
-completely cleaned the brakes out and bleed them with fresh brake fluid.
-I've flushed the radiator and put fresh coolent/water in the system.
- i've had a family friend check all of the electricals.
-check all of the chain and sprockets
-fixed cracks in fairings and repainted.

does anyone have any tips for cleaning out the carbs and balancing them properly?

and also any other maintenance things i might have missed?

found this link which explains in depth with photos how to clean carbs specific to the ZXR250. I will attempt to clean my carbs some time over the next few weeks. unfortunately my bike it my sole form of transportation so i will have to do this when I'm not busy with work/study.
