I'm new around here, already introduced myself but I thought I'd drop by here and say hi too. Here are some pictures of me at the track. They were just practice sesions, thats why I don't have my number on yet but here they are anyway.

Not too many peeps from the states on here, welcome to the site.

It appears that in http://www.momentumphoto.net/events/trackaddix/05apr10/1430school/pages/TA05_MAM0410_289.html you have lost your keys.

I hope you found them.

Just kidding. I hope you are okay.

Hey man, where abouts in the US of A are you from?

Nice pics. Them Kawasakis go pretty hard. I'd buy one but they cost WAY too much, here in NZ. I was racing a 2002 GSXR600 last year and half of this year. Now I've gone over to do some 125ccGP racing to better train my disipline.

Welcome btw dude!

The key was actually bent and a pretty nice angle after the bike was done sliding on its top. Bike wasn't too bad. I've been riding it since. Actually the first set of pics I showed you were after that crash. I did just get up and walk away from that crash with nothing more than a jammed wrist so I was pretty fortunate. The bike had a shattered wind shield, bend left clip-on, broken front break resevoir (you can see it rolling across the tarmac in the pic that it looks like I'm looking for my keys :P ), and I had to replace the starter assembly. I also tweaked the forks a little, I moved them back but I think they are a little bent. I'll prolly send them in this winter to have them worked over.

As far as what I'm running on the bike... It has an Akrapovic full racing system, power commander III, custom forks with extended travel, and a penske shock. I had an AMA pro racer help me set up the suspention so I'm all ready for the next season in April.

BTW, I live in north central Iowa. Kinda out in the middle of nowhere but there are a lot of nice tracks around me within about 8 or 9 hours driving range.

Any pics that make Roadracing World are good pics. Shame it was under shitty circumstances.

Welcome along to KB by the way. Look forward to race reports from The States.

Hey man, was wondering. Did the other guy in the yellow and blue make it out of that without losing it?

Yup, he made it. He actually kept my bike from rolling over me cause mine hit the back end of his bike. It kicked out his back end a little but he got it straightened out and only ended up dirt trackin it. He was actually video taping me but ran out of video about 5 minutes before the crash :(. That would have been an awsome video.

Jeez GK, that looks painful! Glad you came out of it.

Guess we don't appreciate the (relative) small size of NZ - I grizzle that Pukekohe is a 7-hour ride from here, but I've got two other tracks inbetween me and Puke!

Welcome to KB, BTW

I get Road Racer X magazine - it's a great mag.

Have you met Ben Bostrom? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I think he's GORGEOUS!!!!!!!

When I was living in Swanson I rang up Mum in Upper Hutt one morning at 5:55am to tell her I was coming for lunch...knocked on her back door at 12:05pm...that was on my old XJ-750 so you should be able to do Welly to Puke easily in 6 hours Linda :ride:

We tend to have a coffee at each petrol stop (14 litre tank on my bikes = 200kms/fill up). And of course we don't exceed 100kph..........
