No one fell off and cocked up the whole show - riding in Taiwan should be part of our license test I think.

Yeah and here's Vietnam - you don't need any stinking traffic lights just ride like you are threading a needle and just cut through - do the same if you are walking across the road too - no need to wait for the green man.

When you watch it there's some obvious skill in threading between each other so smoothly. I suppose you would get good at it doing it everyday.

If 20 million Chinese came to live in Auckland Len would soon get improvements to his rail system along with all those scooters.

I spent some time there on business last year. Outside of Taipei in the industrial cities there aren't any footpaths so one has to walk down the road amongst it all. The first picture I think explains why - this is the entrance to an office building which provides a little space on a corner. Having footpaths would be a waste of time as they would just fill up with scooters and be impassable. The second shot is their pig bikes. The other side of the building had another row just the same. Standard 250s are rare and considered a "big bike". At least their pig cars are half decent ones though, unlike the wallowy pieces of shit they try to drive around here.299267299268299269

I hope it is not stereotypical to say all the bikes look the same?
