Is the Suzuki GSXR600 2007 LAMS approved in NZ?

No but the GSXR1000 is. (http://www.nzta.govt.nz/licence/getting/docs/lams-list.pdf)

Ignoring the Trolls - the GSXR600 isn't, but the GSX650FU is lams approved (but the GSX650F isn't)

I wonder how many of these LAMs riders plan on obeying all the other road rules... just asking...

Silence of the Lams... just put a dr650 sticker on it ;p

Ignoring the Trolls -

And I was thinking the OP might be trolling? I know they say there is no such thing as a silly question but that one must've came close.

They might be - but a few misheard conversations could change a GSX650 into a GSX600 or someone could think that if a GSX650FU was LAMS approved then surely a GSXR600 should be - cause its got a smaller engine...

Perhaps.... but given his exact question in google takes us to http://www.nzta.govt.nz/licence/getting/motorcycles/lams.html, he's just a lazy fucking retard and deserves all the trolling he gets.

Yamaha's XJ6-S or N are not Lams, but they sell one with a restricted throttle tube that is.

Almost as dumb as the Irish Carb plates on a Harley. At least on the Irish blockoffs they have some sort of seal you have to break. With the XJ6 you just pay the dealer $400 odd for a new throttle tube. I guess they are so expensive because they are a rare part! Yeah right.

Anyway, everyone knows that the R in GSXR stands for "restricted" so they must be Lams, what ever the HP

I thought that was a bit interesting so I had a look around the various search engines. I found just the one reference with an attached comment saying there were none in this country in 2013.

Sex on wheels and a massive 33bhp. Who'd want to ride that? Look like Tarzan, ride like Jane.

Me personally I wouldn't (the GSXR600 riding position would kill my back commuting) but if you were into chatting up the ladies (or being a poser in general) - whose going to know its all shirt and no trouser unless they were a motorcyclist themselves?

Not even the horsepower of a Meridian Triumph T120 Bonnie - which comes in around 45 ..
