View Full Version : I Finally Got My Dream Bike

Well, after months or budgeting, figuring finances out, searching high and low and going on a few test rides I have finally found my dream bike (for the meantime).
My baby is a 2004 Suzuki Volusia 800 :Punk: and she goes like a dream, smooth as when compared to my little GZ250.
I'm as chuffed as a pig in shit and can't wait to go on some decent runs out into the countryside, but first things first, a good wash and a couple of hours polishing to get her looking even better.
Yee-fucking-haa :woohoo:
A big shout out goes to Mark and the guys at Coleman's who have been extremely helpful and patient with me 'umming and 'aarring over different cruiser models.

Good on ya, Outlaw. They're a much better finnished machine to my eye than the Intruder.
Why the hell do Japanese manufacturers insist on calling cruisers the gheyest names?

Very nice - a bike that actually fits you - both emotionally and physically -
So got an ipod with all your metallica tracks all set up and a full tank of gas??

Thanks everyone for you replies and well wishes.
I'm still on cloud nine and have spent the last two evenings riding around Albany/Browns Bay just for fun.
I wish I could join you on your run this Sunday but it's my best mates Birthday and I've bought him a bungee of the harbour bridge which happens smack bang in the middle of the ride, sorry about that.
Thanks again to everyone, you guys rock!
