Hi all. Wanting to find a good carb cleaner which I can soak my carbs in, so has to be safe on rubber etc. While I will take apart the carbs to separate needles, jets etc, I don't want to break the entire carb (everything reads very difficult to put back together). Pine-sol looks to be the go but having problems finding it. Does anybody know where to buy it or can suggest a good alternative for soaking? Thanks

White vinegar. Yes, for carbs. Soak them overnight and blow jets out with compressed air the next day.
Acetic acid (vinegar) will dissolve any gumming or fuel deposits, and will make dirt on outside wipe off real easy. Not harmful to carb seals, diaphragms etc.
$5 for big botts at your local supermarket, can you spring for that?
