S20s for a Busa?

I'm thinking about getting something better than the BT-015's which I have on the busa now, been considering the Bridgestone s20's, anyone tried these on the Busa and how much life did you got out of them?

My current experience with T30s on my GSX1200 is very so so. They seem ok only in the dry, but so slidy in the wet.I am dissapointed and cant wait to finish wearing them out. My s20s lasted 4500kms on my GSXR600 and I thought they were very good. A Busa might eat them?

I was concerned about life and <5K posted above is a little extreme for me. I went with the T30 suggestion, I was not aware of the T30 option, guess I should get out more.

Very happy with my T30's but I avoid rain so they have had minimal wet use. Were OK when moist (best word ever?) but to be fair I drop my speed when damp (contender word).

Ron Haslam uses T30s on his CBR Hondas at his track school, so he rates them. Mine have had a pretty fair test over various conditions, but for me, the number of little front end slides and rear breaking loose on wet shiny patches has eroded my confidence in them. My PR 2s never behaved like that and they are an older tech than T30s. Kms up to 6500 now.

They really worked on my 600. But a busa..?

Not sure. They feel like a light bike option to me. But then I don't ride big bikes anyway so what would I know?

I went to a PP3 on the back recently. OK - solid tyre but lacks the sparkle of the S20. It feels heavier and takes longer to move. Less connection through the bike to me. But the first one seems to be wearing well enough and that is why I bought it in the first place. But it feels like it needs a bigger bike than a 600.

Would I use one again?

Sure. Very good at what they do. Grip and wear in abundance.

Which tyre would I prefer to ride on if they were all free?

S20. No contest.

But that's on a 6.

I've got a pair of s20's on the sv1000
they came with it a month ago, so I'm not exactly sure of the km's they've done.

But lifespan would be the only possible issue I'd have with them, They've got fantastic grip in all weathers
warm up really quickly, and so far I've not seen any sign of the big v-twin tearing them up.

would I replace them with same? yes.

PP3's have good power delivery off the line and mid throttle on the busa. I haven't had a issue with wheel slip yet, unless im really pining it and the tires are cold

3500 to 4k is good for a back tire.

I dunno, maybe I simply got a bad set then. Have played around with tyre pressures, altered riding style....just nil feedback and a firm sidewall.
Hopefully they play better on the '14. Will use the OEM tyres up and play from there
