I've just booked tickets to New Zealand and my wife and I will be there from November 17-30. It will be our first time. We fly in and out of Auckland. What I'd like to do is rent a motorcycle and ride around to see the place; if possible both north and south islands.
I looked on the internet and it's the usual crazy motorcycle rental prices. So what I'd like to do is rent your bike :-)
I've currently got a 99 VFR and an 03 KTM 640 Adventure. My VFR setup is close to exactly what I'd like to rent. Here's a picture in Glacier National Park from quite a while ago.

The key point is I've got a ton of hard waterproof luggage; about 100 liters. I'm looking for something similar in terms of luggage capacity. It can be a Gold Wing. It can be an RG1100. It can be an ST1100/1300. It can be pretty much anything so long as it's got a lot of capacity and is well maintained and reliable. It also needs to be at least somewhat comfortable, especially for the rear passanger. (The VFR has a Sargent seat). The type of bike, age, or pretty much anything else isn't going to matter much to me.
I'm a Canadian living in the US. I've been riding for 25 years and will not be trashing your motorcycle.
What I'd like to go is rent something for a flat fee plus a charge per mile (or whatever you would think would be reasonable) that isn't crazy expensive.
If you're interested message me (or do whatever is appropriate for this forum.)
