Now that I'm a little more settled (Pls refer newbie section for newbie introduction thanks) I've started to research my license conversion process. It looks very likely I will have to do at least one practical test. In Singapore you use the driving school bike for the test but it looks like here you bring your own.
Is it just me looking in the wrong place or is the cost of bike rental more than the cost of car rentals?
Can anyone recommend a testing centre where the bike is provided? I'm on the shore.

I used these guys http://www.riderskills.co.nz/
Depending on what test you need to do they should be able to hire you a bike.

Holeshot Suzuki Barrys Point Road Takapuna, Ph:094896185

for licensing, i can't recommend www.ridertraining.co.nz enough. Did by CBTA R with them and Steve was great.

Not a big fan of Coeman's as a bike dealership.
However, their rentals are extremely well priced and some decent bikes. I rented one of their bikes to do my full license test on, and it was extremely cheap for a day rental and got a SV400 to ride. I'd definitely highly rate them to rent for a bike test.
