If you are serious enough you can recover and reprint every job ever printed on a corporate printer. Sort by user, IP address, job type, job name etc.
Even after the logs have been deleted. Or the history.
You only need access to the print server or the printer.

If the company has print tracking of some sort then every print job to ever go across the network.

If they have auditing turned on on such a system every printed document is in a database.

Some places I have worked pull any drives and permanently disable them. One of my jobs while contracting was to remove the platters and our a nail through. Boring work, but at that price I font mind being bored.

I used to send emails from the company printer from whoever I wanted, you just selected the name you wanted it from.
No one ever figured it out till I told them how I did it.

This relies on your SMTP relay allowing anonymous or unauthenticated email. This is a flaw in general security and from a command line you could have sent any email from any PC.

It was a flaw the sent items did not appear in the sent items box of the fake senders obviously
but the recipient did not know that of course.
To mess with people I used to send them emails from themselves as well........

Not exactly a flaw, they simply never sent that email. The name and email address is actually arbitrary, as long as you have a server that will accept and send the message. I have several situations where the real email address is hidden and another one is listed...

As said, you can actually start chatting to a server via command line and tell it you're a server and want to send them an email... I've done it a few times when troubleshooting tricky problems.

Better... one client managed to merge 5 or 6 contacts unknowingly. Problem was the master was a colleague in Oz. So he very casually answers the mobile to hear a client on the end instead... :laugh:

The initial report to me was puzzling to say the least, but once I had a look, yeup... un-merge.

iPhones suck at that. My phone has tried on several occasions to merge people with similar names... Without asking for confirmation.

When I was a teenager I knew the number of everybody I called without looking them up. Nowadays I have used technology to store them so long the only numbers I know off the top of my head are Pizza Hut and pizza haven. More to of with saturation marketing than calling them.
