View Full Version : Shinko street tyres from my old GN250

I want to get rid of 2 newish tires that used to be on my GN250. The bike has been gone for several months now, but the tires are still here. So, before I start painting them and using them as flower planters, is anyone here interested in them?
The front is a Shinko SR604 in the size: 3.00-18
The back is a Shinko touring tire Tour Master SR732 in the size: 120/90-16
They have been used by a wimpy beginner (me…) for a ride to New Plymouth, and some pootling along, and that was pretty much it. So they have done less than 1000 km. I got them new for NZ$ 170 in November 2012.
Now they’re just in the way, so make an offer and pick them up (they are probably too narrow for flower planters anyway…).
PS: The photos with the tires on the bike are from the beginning of last year. The other photos are from yesterday. Aside of the dust and the spiders I had to fight to take the photos there is not much difference...

I want to get rid of 2 newish tires that used to be on my GN250.
Put them on trade me.
Ask $160.
A GN would take 33 thou km to kill them so they are only 3% worn out
Used GN parts are very hard to get in such good condition.

I'll give you a hug and a line of coke for them?
By coke, I mean nothing.

Jeepers I cannot believe they still make that front tread pattern. That was so 1979!
