Hi All reminder that the 21st September marks the Wellington Enduro meeting at Kaitoke.
Format for the day is 2 x warm ups 2x heats and a 1 hour enduro combined A+B, Min 1 Rider Max 3 Riders per bike.
Bikes if riding two riders must have 1 x A and 1 x B combo, three or more can have any combo as long as they have 1 x rider from another grade.
Min 1 x pit stop with a run around the club house with no max, (1 rider teams must do two pit stops) Every time you pit you must run around the club house.
Bikes must be shut down and walked along the pit area and restarted at the end of the pits.
Pit window open from 5 min after green flag to 5 min before chequered flag.
Those that haven’t made 1 pit stop in that time will be excluded from results.
Refuelling in area marked for refuelling only.

I also need help with lap scoring, so if you like sitting in a nice warm office on the start straight let me know (best seat in the house)

Now is the time to drag in your mates that have always wanted to try Buckets but never get around to it. (Here ride this thing for 1/2 hour and don’t come last) See, no pressure at all.

Thanks Fish

It's a rule that has been bought in to target you deliberately and remove any advantage you get from running the 170cc FXR engine.

Going up the mountain this weekend.
The two new guys are gonna borrow my bike (FXR) for the enduro. Point and laugh at them if they fall off :D.

Make sure you turn up, remember Kaitoke has a different climate so it might be dry if its wet down the road (or visa-versa of course).

Well it was more than a shower early. It was a bit of rain in first practice but then full on rain for the 2nd practise.

Then a long wait for the kart classes to have their endures but it got dry and sunny for ours.

Congrats to Caleb, the Fish/Chris combo and then Andrew. All finished within a few seconds on the track.

Hard days racing. Interesting day with two wet runs then an hour in the dry although cool. Caleb and I both went solo after our riding partners didn't come out on the day! I thought it would be no problems but still feeling it today. The race didn't start that well in that the bike didn't start first push. When it did go it leaped into what felt like a good wheelie. I like that (MNZ OFFICIALS HOLD YA BLACK FLAGS DOWN) then into it. Caleb was going hell for leather and pulled away a little. After 5 minutes when the pits opened I went in for my first stop and run up the hill. Caleb came in just after me. When he came back out he was having trouble starting his bike so I was ahead of him. At the half hour mark pulled in for gas and another run. Big thanks to Estelle for looking after the refueling pit stop and time keeping. For the next lap or two yelling and gasping from the effort of the run! Caleb ran quicker as he got out in front of me. I put the hammer and passed him. The legend Fishy caught up and passed me I tried to hang with him. The gap got bigger and smaller depending on lapped traffic. When the flag came out and I finished man I was saw. It was A good hour. Hopefully I didn't upset anyone with any of the passes.
Thanks to Fishy and the lap scorers for all the effort you put into it.
