Not sure if this is the correct place for this so feel free to move it.
Anyway, whilst replacing the stator on my bandit 250 [I] noticed this weird hard orange stuff in the stator housing. At first [I] thought it may be some kind of strange gasket material but now [I]'m not too sure.
Here's a picture of it

Anyone know what that stuff is? [I]f it is gasket material of some sort should [I] strip it all off and replace it and if so what with?

Its just the bonding resin/epoxy that they use to attach the magnets to the fly wheel. Nothing to worry about as long as they are all still secure in there.
