If this works should be a link to the second sidecar race.

I can tell you that from behind that was one hell of a battle the yellow and green machine was putting up to both us and the team monstering it around the track. When you are only a few inches off the back wheel you can really see how hard it was proving to go in anything but a straight line.
I suppose the truly scary thing is that it will only get quicker. I don't wont to offend any one else but I can honestly say that only Rick and Henk could buy that accident waiting to happen and actually make it fast on its first outing at the track.
Oh and just a quick side note for any one interested, if your twist throttle breaks don't try and improve upon a proven thing and say use a thumb throttle, as our exit from the first race showed its lethal.

After the GP I think poor old Dave Diprose would say it was an accident that had already happened after I used it as a weapon and took him out in the pits:crazy:

Will have to have a watch of the video tonight when I get home

On that, we've worked out that if you have pushed it backwards, it may not have brakes until they are pumped again, only sometimes of course.

That was great to watch thanks
The new rig has lots of problems and will need lots of work to solve them, Tyres, Wheels, Brakes, suspension, steering, gear lever and on and on but the engine is a gem and its all good fun working it out, Henk did a great job swinging as it was very hard to balance the handeling with it so far out, we are very lucky to get the results we did !
So glad to see you both jump up from your crash, It was a big one !

That's quite a list... Mind you seeing those pics on Chris's thread was a bit of a worry, that front end looks really wrong.
You had really good power off the line and down the straight we we're just going backwards trying to keep up, and Henk was all over the place trying to get the balance right so some positives on the day.
Hitting the barrier was a bit of a wake up call, first thing you think is "how's the swinger" then " shit how's the rig, can we get going and finish the race", luckily both were fine. Did have to straighten out the fork again tonight, one day I will need to make a new front end.
Should be good when Des is on the track, all three of our rigs should be heading for the same corners at the same time, should be some really close racing.
Just wondering are the chairs going to run an endurance at the two hour in November?
