Fantastic shots there, big guy. You knew just where to stand eh?
Jill, after seeing that, I'm amazed at a) How you maniged as long as you did to stay upright and b) you can obviously run bloody fast.
How' the headlights going? :ride:

You knew just where to stand eh?
As it was all hurtling DIRECTLY towards me I wondered about that. Had a remarkably similar occurance at a Castol Six hour 20 years ago.

He was up and about and seemed OK. They were calling an Ambo just to be sure.

Bike 41 and he was taken away in the ambulance lying down on the stretcher bed. He was walking before being put in the ambulance.
So no ideas of what injuries were substaned.
I was timing Keystone for her times (1.30) .... and had watched her go past and then all I saw was tyres up in the air...
First thought was FARK KEYSTONE is in that....!!!!!!!!!
Took off running/walking as fast as my little legs would let me....
Run out of breath as my asthma kicked in...
Got there to find that Keystone had already gotten her bike back up and had ridden back to the pit.
The dude was lying on the ground with the St Johns lady in attendence.
The bike sure looked munted.... But some of the lads who saw it close up, will be able to say how bad the bike is.
Keystone did drop Gareth_D's bike and broke off the brake lever. But thanks to Quasi, he had a spare brake lever there.
Well done Keystone for getting back out on the track.... and even thou she dropped her times down after that, which was understandable... She did great out on the track.

How' the headlights going? :ride:
They worked all the way.... I followed her on the motorway and the rear lights were on all the way...
We also filled up the bike...
Thanks for helping her.
Keystone is about now explaining to Gareth_D what happened to his bike...
so she should be online soon..... we hope.

Glad I didn't get that job then - would have been in a right panic on the way there knowing that my man was bludging rides at the track.

Big Dave and Keystone could tell you what happened as they were there at the time.

Well, that was pretty interesting. I knew I was kinda close to the guy but that makes it look like I was really close to the guy...
We were coming into Jennian corner, I would have been doing maybe 110, he'd just gone around me on the outside when his whole rear end jumped out as you can see pretty much right in front of me.
I don't know how I managed to avoid him but did and ran out onto the grass, bike was going about 10kph or so when i dropped it. Landed on my leg but I was a bit worried about the other guy 'cause he wasn't moving. So, yeah, that's me running back to him.
He started moving just as i got to him so that was a relief. I spoke to him afterwards and he thinks his engine seized.
I went back out on the track for the last session but rode like a nana.
I was very lucky...

Look closer at the pic of Keystone sprinting....
She sprinted with her helmet on......
No time to take it off.... just run.... and with a sore foot, after dropping the bike on her foot.

Kind of need to process today's excitement a bit though...I understand, especially when the guy falls off right in front of you, that would have been an eye opener!! I've seen a number of riders bin in front of me and it's not a very pleasant feeling.
Get a good night sleep! :zzzz:

Glad to hear you escaped unscathed.
If you don't mind me asking, how come you're not taking the vtr out on the track?

Planning to trade it in a couple of weeks so didn't want to risk damaging it. Gareth and I decided to go halves in the day 'cause he couldn't afford a full day and I didn't want to take the VTR out. Just as well as it turns out...
Fortunately no major damage was done to Gareth's bike though. Just some minor scratches on the fairings and the broken bit was actually already broken apparently.
Thanks Quasi for the Brake lever and brake fluid top up!
And thanks to WT for 'fixing' the headlight problem...

really pity about that guy crashing.
Team MILF Racing has been born - REMEMBER YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST!!!
keep an eye out for future developments... and more sky blue bikes with dodgy phrases on them (not to mention dodgey riders :Punk: )
I had an awesome day, and my tyres (rear mainly) took a thrashing, im sure Jill and I could get our times down if i had a better rear shock, im sure the others can tell you how much it was bouncing around - it really does make it difficult to hold a line at 150kmh!

Yeah, the reason that tyre took a beating mate, is the fact that the oil has leaked out of the rear shock on your bike. You're sitting on a pogo stick with ZERO damping. Get that sussed, and you'll have a much nicer bike to ride.

yeh, it needs a rebuild... i know that for sure!!! But i think its gonna be cheaper to replace than rebuild it. Just a matter of money, its not like i like riding it like that or anything - it can make things hairy at the best of times.
