As far as I know.... The 'race kit' was for the very early A100 not the late one we usually see here. There was an expansion chamber (had one - brilliantly noisy) and new barrel and piston plus head and a new disc for the disc valve. Took it out closer to 125cc
It made them fairly rapid....

Memory says that's pretty right. One was built up at Tommy's in ChCh. Not many kits were brought in - maybe 3 or 4. Don't remember any cosmetics with the kit but there may have been a bigger carb.

Ok then, thanks for that. One more thing, would it be possible to bore the a100 out and if yes how would I go out about doing this?

Yes - but you really need to sort the head, the ports, the disc, the exhaust and carb... Expensive.... Bore it and you will need the bigger carb for sure...
Easier engines to tweak.....
