Same here, but hell what a day, fixing the worlds rubbish problems one arsehole at a time. Loved what she's doing, but hurt, yeah that'll happen soon enough cause the arseholes just don't give a shit.

Sweet. Was digusted by the amount of roadside rubbish from litter when I went to UK in 2002.
So made it a mission when I came back to it let it happen here. Have had several passengers in truck 'get told' when they started opening the window mid journey to throw stuff out there.
One young work colleague didn't think I would stop on the biggest hill on SH5 either but he didn't like the idea of walking to Auckland so we didn't need to stop in the end.
Every bit helps, not sure if I'd have the balls that chick does though!

Yup. At 100kph on our rural roads, you don't even notice 90% of the litter. But it's there.
Last summer the Mrs and I stopped in the Kawarau Gorge to do some wild apple foraging. This involved a 200m walk on the safe side of an armco barrier. The amount of litter deposited over the barrier was horrifying - it was quite literally in piles, as well as spread everywhere. So much for our clean green tourist routes - although I have no doubts that the road maggots would be responsible for way too much.

We live in a rural dead end road with a school/weekend camp at the end.
Last week we had an influx of Islander parents supervising at the camp who wandered up and down the road when the kids were busy. The amount of KFC/Macs and takeaway rubbish on the road went from zero to heaps. Not entirely saying it is a race thing but in this country, that Russian girls would get a close up of ethnic in her face.
A couple of years ago I spotted a car load of spoiled brats do a roadside dump. I chased them on the bike and had a word but got told the usual so I took the BMW's reg, did a trace and rang the owner, mum. Turns out the car was off limits to the kids and they would be dealt with. Pretty sure the weekly allowance would have has at least 50 cents taken off
Lazy kids reflect lazy parents and we have lost our ability for the retribution thingy.
Vote Conservatives and bring back the smack.
Shame about the moon thing

It was dicovered by some bikers that someone had been dumping rubbish over the bank at a local rest area. This was discussed with a councillor who expressed the thought that it was a problem, but it would be difficult to identify the miscreant(s). Well, difficult for council staff who are not noted for being excessively energetic. Some rather more athletic souls climbed down the bank and checked the rubbish. Therein a series of registration stickers for the same vehicle. The stickers were handed to the councillor.
Obviously the phantom dumper wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. I must enquire what the outcome was. If any.

Someone posted a photo in Sideswipe today of a bunch of mattresses dumped at a lookout point on SH2 near Hamilton. I used to think Northland was bad for it but having travelled most of NZ have to say it is everywhere.

I've seen every creed, colour & cretin abandoning their waste out of vehicles. Rips my nightie every time. Even had the opportunity once to stop for broken down maggot tourists (seen earlier in the day by me dumping their shit from the shit box campervan on a beach reserve where they had illegally spent the night ) just to tell them I would not give them the steam off my piss if they were freezing to death. That was a great afternoon.
Any hoo, quote. When we moved into our current abode we found years worth of garbage on the boundary which we got rid of. In the first few months we found a few fresh dumps, just bags of house hold garbage. With letters & such in them! Retards! The rubbish goes straight back to the property it came from, thrown at the front door. Best one turned out to be dumped by a Real Estate Agent after cleaning out a house for the next tenant. The bags were torn apart by dogs & shit was strewn everywhere. Made my month that did.
Had nothing for over a year now.
Our council does not give a toss, lacking in resources & resolve to deal with lazy bastards.
That woman in the vid is obviously feisty and I reckon she could be quite tasty, too. A chublick could not pick up litter so easily. Need to see more.

Rubbish being chucked out of a vehicle or dropped by pedestrians annoys me. Why anyone can't hang on to their shit and dispose of it either in a bin along the way, or once they get home is beyond me.
I'm not sure if I'd have the requisite handling skills to retrieve the rubbish then spray it back at the offender while still on my bike (it's a long way down for my little short leggies, let alone bending over to pick it up from the saddle) but at least on her bike she was able to make a clean getaway!
People who litter are lazy thoughtless shits.
A family over the back of our fence used to dump their kids used nappies and broken toys etc. over onto our property; as well as a mountain of garden waste when they decided they wanted a vege garden behind their house. Every single bit of shit, garden rubbish included, got thrown back over (I tried to spread it out as much as possible for effect). Haven't had any problems for a while but I stay vigilant!

Still no where near as bad as UK. And you can step out of car in rest area without risk of standing in human excrement on tarmac...

I heard of a guy who went behind a roadside bush in Germany for a quick leak, and found a big turd there with a small union jack planted in it. There's obviously national pride involved.

And another thing:angry2: When was the last time you saw an anorak with a metal detector on the beach disposing of the rubbish they dig up? Nah, they are that dumb they chuck it back on the sand to dig up next time.
And don't get me started on dog turds!

Saw an item on CNN about this, this afternoon. They showed the vid and all.
Apparently there's some claim that it may be staged, as there is much use of MacDonalds (rubbish bin, and rubbish) and parallels to an anti-litter campaign McD ran.

You started me! In my local bush walk I see plastic bags. Some numpties are bagging turds, then throwing the plastic into the trees. I hope their dogs bite them a lot.

I first saw it on FB a week or so ago. Then I read somewhere that it was a setup.
