I have owned this bike for 4 years as a learner and kept it on my full. I have moved on to a bigger bike more suitable for taking passengers touring. It’s a great bike that I wish I could afford to keep.
Learner legal and much more fun to ride than any single or 2 cylinder 250. The CB250F has the same engine as the MC22 CBR250RR but retuned for more midrange power making it easier to ride. Lighter, and more powerful than a Ninja 250/300. Low seat height accommodates shorter riders but still handles large riders well (I’m 1.95m).
Aftermarket Renthal bars give better control and comfort. Removable tank grips give better control.
In good condition for its age and runs perfectly. I have had no issues at all. Oil and oil filter have been changed every 4-5000kms. Front tyre has 50% left, rear has 90% left. Front brake disc and pads are 4000kms old. Front and rear brakes flushed and bled 500kms ago. There are a few cosmetic scratches and marks as to be expected for a bike of this age and mileage but overall in good cosmetic condition.
Wof until 23/5/2015
Rego until 20/12/2014
I have got 5.1l/100km average fuel consumption with 85% commuting and 15% weekend rides. 300kms to a tank.
