The Eviornment Canterbury Trail Bike info sheet....
ecan.govt.nz/publications/General/wrrp-trail-bike-riding.pdf (http://ecan.govt.nz/publications/General/wrrp-trail-bike-riding.pdf)
Bunch of rules or conditions but mostly when you get out there people don't seem to be aware of any of that or don't care and it's more of a free for all every man for himself and a bit of lets wreck the place.
North Bank MX area is temporarily closed from tomorrow for work being done for the next 3 months.
South Bank easy/most commonly entered from Weedons Ross Rd and ride up or down stream. Or Miners Bank Rd (McLeans Island) and ride up stream toward Weedons Ross Rd.

Hi Rob
I've recently got back into riding my self...brought a 450exc...jesus....knows why.....I found Weedons Ross Rd to be pretty good, I've also started doing a few of the organised trail rides and had a great laugh- nice and relaxed- BBQs in the pits.....in saying that, I went to the Nut buster Enduro last weekend, only to have a look- and decided I'm going to give it ago next year!

Hi Ants
Cool that ride looks good. And nice bike. Im still trying to organize a trailer for my bike . something small like a jetski trailer. keen to go down to the weedons rd section. Never been but think it will be a good place to start and get familiar with my 300 exc 2 stroke! Maybe we could meet up for a ride if you keen.
Cheers for the info.

Hi Rob- yeah sounds good mate...I initially brought a trailer.....then sold it after a few months and brought a Van...made sense to me- I liked the idea of having everything contained- Bike / equipment / in a lockable area, as a posed to exposed and venerable. Let me know when your keen- I'm sure we can fit the 300 in the back.

Hey Ant
that would be awesome! Im so keen to try my bike and will be some time before I organise a towbar and find a small trailer. Im hoping to go buy boots helmet and the rest today, as I said I havent riden for about 15 years.
So I should be geared up to ride today. Id be keen as for a ride and be happy to contribute petrol for a ride. Im in Barrington.
