Hi everyone, thanks for having me (I hope)!
I did a forum search on fork straightening, and the consensus for work in Christchurch seemed to be Beaumont Engineering (although these threads were pretty antiquated).
Is this still the go?
Honestly, I'd much rather go for a new (new to me) fork... Maybe a whole new front end... But would be nice to have the bike running sooner rather than later!

Well, my first instinct was to tie the rear wheel to a tree and yank on the front with the Hilux...

How bad is it? they usually pretty easy to straighten. PM me if you want. If it isnt too rooted Ill fix it

Yeah, I think it's a goner. Looks to be about 20 degrees bent.
Plus, the stanchion surface isn't great. Time for a new-old one.

Some will happily take your money to fix your problem ...
But .. it's your life ... YOU choose.

Not really worth fixing, the cost of re chroming them would kill it. Ill go look in the shed and see if I have any , are they 33mm?

Hi I have found a set of 33mm forks from yamaha, complete with brakes. Should do the job . PM me
