Im planning on going up the Rimutakas on Sat (weather dependant) Leaving Caltex Rimutaka @ 11 (which gives you time to go get your vote in). The ride will be slowish to medium pace, but faster riders welcome too. Regrouping essential!
Anyone interested? Not too confident on going on my own just yet . . . .

I came across this straight piece of road on Sunday that would be very good for testing your speedo (although to get within a mile of the thous I was chasing would have involved snapping the KRs needle off :devil2: )

Or you could wait until the 24th and use that piece of road legally...

I dreamt that I pulled wheelies on your KR last night. :Punk:

Awesome.

I might see ya tomorrow - I'm trying to sell a car, so it depends when the buyer is going to show up.

Can I have a go on your bike? I just want to check something... :sherlock:

I left early and found the ride up the hill bloody horrible! First (fairly) traffic free ride up from the otherside and was very enjoyable. I must remember to keep revs up in the corners though :).

So, is everyone going to head to the MB 1/4 mile sprints on next Sunday? Mofun? Jimdaworm etc? Should be a bit of fun I reckon.
