Any thoughts on one of these for a first bike? A guy on fb is trying to sell me one for 5g but im not too sure on in

The 600s have quite modest hp but good torque, the fairings have been repainted, Crashed ?
Just be aware that they are higher maintenance than jap bikes , belts and valves they are ezy DIY jobs but are recommend to be checked ever 5,000 km
I replace my belts one year takes about 1/2 hr and costs $35.00 and valves have always been in spec
