I turned up to Lynnmall today :ride: to find a cage in the 1-hour bike park outside Woolworths. This is not an uncommon occurrrence, in fact, it's probably the 5th time in a row that I've experienced this :weird: but the difference today was that the driver was there! So, I pulled up to her window and politely informed her that it was "motorcycle only parking" :nono: to which she replied with mild indignation "is it?" before buggering off to find somewhere else to park. :Punk:

It felt bloody good because it's the first opportunity I've had (been riding about a year) to send a cager on their way - every other time they're nowhere to be seen. :motu:

Seems a little restrained really, I often start with my titanium gloves just about the middle of the rear fender then proceed to the front fender from there. Can be kinda fun if they are still in the car too!
Not that I would ever do such a thing! :woohoo: :ride:

Well done mate. Jimdaworm, its a great feelig calling a tow-truck isn't it. Whats even better is when you company owns one and you get to tow anyone you see. (Well almost anyone, the boss didn't like us "hiding" his car on the roof)

I was at LynnMall today... But I parked around the other side of Lynnmall on the footpath near where the $2 shop is... the side of Starbucks but close to the door.

Good onya for catching someone actually at their car to tell them to politely "Piss Off".....

Hell yeah, good on ya,

Good work on the manners too, i probibly would have thrown in a "what the f#%k do you think your up to? there are hundreds of parks right behind you for cars, F&@k off an use one of those before i do some damage you....(add any number of bad words to make a colourfull rainbow of vocabulary)!

but that wouldn't have gone to far in improving our image as "bikers",

good work

A little while ago I parked on the footpath at Lynnmall. The bike was well out of people's way. We were in having a bit of lunch when a young fella came up and asked if mine was the blue bike outside. He then warned me that some prick of a security guard was going to get it removed. I went running out side to see him on his radio. Got there just in time.
The prick must have had a bad day because I got a right bollocking. I've been a little wary of parking on the footpath around there ever since.

I did the same in Palmerston North recently, at the bike park near the lights on Broadway. This guy was parked there, so I pulled up behind him, tooted the horn (melodiously of course!) and gave a little wave to indicate that I wanted to park there so he needed to move. He didn't have much choice as he knew he was in the wrong, but I did worry he might drive around the block and then reverse back into my bike... so I parked it on the other side of a scooter...

I'm not so polite to pedestrians though - this college kid walked out in front of me the other day so I yelled out "have you got a fucking deathwish, you moron?"

The best one is when you walk in the mall and ask them to page the person who has parked their car in the motorcycle or disable park illegally to move it :)

That would really get to them. I like it.
