Past my restricted this morning in aucklands rainy spring weather. Did the test out of northcross. Bloke was pretty sweet, nice and relaxed. Ended up being on the road for 30 mins. Comments after were nice riding and here you go ( handed over paper licence.)
Did 2 u turns in culder sacs. One on side street, bit tight. Few give ways and stop signs Turning both ways.

Would of been gutted if I didn't pass seeing I have travelled over 10,000km since I got my learners.

Bring on my full in a year.

All good, although I had practiced alot, so no wobbles just a nice fluid motion, little rear break so i could tighten the turn.

practice man, i practiced in an empty car park, used two carpark spaces and went round in circles till i got a nice tight turn.

No it isn't. Plural is "Culs-de-sac". Singular is "Cul-de-sac".

Just as well your restricted license test didn't have a grammar checker, otherwise you wouldn't have past and you would have been gutted.

Yes it is. There are two options, either can be used. I don't live life safe I'm a motorcyclist.

Some dictionaries list both "culs-de-sac" and "cul-de-sacs" as acceptable plurals, but when a dictionary lists only one, it is "culs-de-sac"—making "culs-de-sac" the safer choice.

Profoundly perturbed that none of these preposterous persons have propagated in passing your particular past title peculiarity that positively purloined passed your peepers at the point of your posting...

The ones listing both need to be hung up by their cul-de-sacs.

This would explain why it is acceptable to use "Statement of Works" in a commercial document instead of "Statements of Work" when discussing multiple pieces of work under a single framework then? Because from my perspective it isn't. It significantly changes the meaning from that intended.

Surely the thread title has become the thread's primary focus and changing it now would rather miss its point?

Not bothered really, its a forum not an english exam. Gives a few people something to moan about.:2thumbsup

We're not moaning. We're taking the piss. Comprehension is reasonably important. Comprehension is the excuse most illiterate dunderheads use to excuse their seemingly random collection of characters and punctuation. " Most people know what I mean!". More usually typed as, "Moast peeple no whut I meen!"

Obviously they aren't up for returning the favour.

Awesome congratz, I have just under 12 months to go for my 6F, the best part of passing my restricted was turfing the L plate. Alot of riders never botherd about using the L plate.
