n00b tyre sizing question (Shinko E700)

New to the Adv/Dirt tires.

I have a BMW single that needs a 90/90/21 front. Is a 3.00x21 Shinko E700 a suitable fitment?

Does anyone have experience with Shinko / E700 on road / gravel road?

Is Shinko reliable? I have only bought major brand tires before.

Measurements like the 3.00 imply a 100% ratio, so that turns out to be 76mm wide with the same profile, whereas the 90/90 is, well, 90mm/90mm

90/90 21 is a very very common adv tyre size and there are heaps of tyres out there that will fit. What kind of tyre are you after? A roady one? A dirty one? An in between one?

I'd ignore THAT particular size shinko.

In between. Picking up an Xchallange from Arrowtown. Looking to take in some gravel roads along the mainly road trip back to AK.

So looking for a suitable tire... the rear will have a MT90..

Put a Pirelli 'rallyecross' , mt21 on the front. It will do anything you ask/need of it.

Most of your kms will prob be on tarmac, well for this trip anyway. Just put one of these on my DR, fine on the gravel and AWESOME sticky on tarmac and 80/20 road/offroad tyre

Oh, they will last ok.......
MT90 front is a waste of the cost of fitting buddy.
