That's it... I thought about it long and hard, and I am doing it... up for sale here, I have my pride and joy toy.
Its a very low mileage Firestorm fitted with all the right stuff to make you giggle like a silly schoolgirl once you
take her on the road. (well either that, or it will give you a boner as tall as the sky-tower)
It's fitted with 2 x Micron pipes, and by the sound these puppies roar, its destined to raise the
hairs on your arms. It will most likely set off car alarms in the parking lot with the deep thunderous
roar, but thats part of the fun. (I dont think there is much of the exhaust packing left by the sound of it :blip: )
I just serviced the bike on the mileage displayed (01/11/2014) with 2 x Brand new NGK iridium racing plugs,
Motul semi-synthetic oil, new oil filter, cleaned + adjusted the chain, brake caliper pistons were cleaned + polished,
all the brake fluids replaced with fresh Motul dot 5.1 fluid, and also cleaned the K&N air filter. Not a cent needed to be spent.
Have a look at the other VTR's on trademe, these things go well over the 100k's mark, they are built solid.
Please note this is one of the later generation Firestorms which came out with the bigger fuel tank, HISS ignition system (I have BOTH original chipped keys btw),
new clocks and small tweaks and refinements across the board. There is also a Ventura packrack fitted and supplied with the bike, so its good for touring or commuting.
The mileage may change slightly as this is my main form of transport to work and back, but my daily commute is under 10 km's per day. Only premium fuel used.
