As of this morning (Sat 8th Nov) British motorcycle racing legend Maria Costello is confirmed to compete at the Suzuki Tri Series at all three rounds, Hampton Downs, Manfield & Cemetery Circuit.
Maria is the only female competitor ever to gain a podium at the IOM TT.
This late announcement is the result of a huge effort by a small group of committed Kiwis with a passion for racing that wanted to see this happen.
She will be riding a KTM 690 Duke R ex European Junior Championship bike in F3 & Bears, provided by Gregg from Boyd Motorcycles in Hamilton.
She will also be riding a beautiful 500 Manx Norton provided by Bruce Verdon of TT Industries in the Classic class at Cemetery Circuit, where she will be pitted in the Steam & Machinery building at the top of Pacific Place.

Thanks to Tracey Bryan of pink sidecar fame for being the organising brains behind this campaign, which wasn't even an idea this time seven days ago.
