We are sending a container of bikes to Sydney from Lytleton for a 5 week trip around Ozzy leaving April 2nd,returning May 6th 2006. We have space for 2-3 bikes for anyone keen on a trip round Ozzy or you can do your own thing once over there.The estimated cost of shipping would be about $375 each way. What other costs are there? What so you have to do on reaching Aus?

Container is $2500 and allowing $500 to clear Oz port charges.$3000 divided by 8 bikes = $375 each way.Bikes must have NZ reg and wof and you buy a temporary oz reg.Need to join AA and get a Carnet for a temporary import and lodge a refundable deposit.Bikes would be tied down inside container.We need a
minimum of 6 bikes to keep shipping costs down,obviously 8 would be better.Ring me if you want more info.

The Greenman has confirmed he's in for the Ozzy Tour.We're still looking for a couple more to join us so get in while there's still places available.Don't leave it till you can really afford it cause by then you'll be in a wheelchair (A Honda one of course!)
