Fellow peps - Im wanting to recondition my old Kawasaki S2a gauges, in particular the speedo - im fully restoring the bike and the gauges I have are not from the original bike.
Im basically wanting the speedo reset to zero and a quick clean up inside, the gauge itself works fine - there is a gent in the US that does it but shipping is worth more than the work costs.
Are there anybody in NZ or Aussie that do this work?
They are sealed units, with a pressed on ring that seals the counter - any advice would be great!

You could try asking Rick at Autotech in whangarei. They used to do rebuilds and calibrations etc.

Parott fixed a 80's Kawasaki speedo that had a dud bearing for me years back - had a tricky stainless bead holding it together that they got off and replaced without any notice.

I used Robinson Instruments when I needed some work done on my cluster.

I've had John at 'Speedo Shop', 3 Empire St. Frankton, Hamilton do instruments for me in the past. He knows what he's doing.

Slick Mick at Rangi motors is good at winding a speedo back to 0k's.

+1 on Robinson. They did an awesome job on repairing the dash cluster on the truck. They still do the acid etching as well as the air brush or vinyl instruments.
Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.
