Bike from Thames to Christchurch or Ashburton?

Trying to save a few bucks on transport costs but obviously willing to pay my way.

You could ride Waihou Thumpers new bike up from alex or whatever and ride your bikeback to chch or ashburton or whatever. Seriously though, have you no sense of adventure that you even have to ask?

What kind of bike? Road legal or will it need to be in a van/trailer? Few guys going down to Burt Munro soon with race bikes, everyone I know has a full load though

race bike other wise I would fly up and ride it down...Yes thought my timing might be good re the Burt.
