New to this forum and needing more ride time (Iceman_nz)

Hi all, I have just managed to get my restricted and now looking for riding mate for some ride time in the weekends. I live in Hillsborough so if there are anybody from around there let me know. Newbie's like would be great and I wouldn't mind ride with the experienced riders as well. Wifey works in the weekend so I am free during the day.

I was just being a smart arse about you looking for other riders 'around Hilsborough' :laugh:

I'm in central Auckland and head out most weekends, Piha/Muriwai, Dargaville, Coromandel - anywhere else randomly. I sometimes meet up with other group rides to see if we can get lost. Also head out with a mate who has had his Ninja 300 for the same amount of time as myself, we're both on our Restricted licences, another 300 wouldn't look out of place.

I'm heading down to the Coromandel this weekend via Clevedon-Kawakawa road, you're welcome to tag along for the ride if you want, however I won't be making a return trip until Sunday night - so you'll have to make the return leg back to Auckland solo.

Otherwise another weekend would be fine for a joint return ride somewhere, the weather is only getting better :sunny:

There is also a North Auckland ride on Wednesday nights leaving from Westgate. There are also North and South Auckland rides on Thursday nights, not as many riders though. South Auckland appears to have more active riders...
