Incident Type: Fatal Crash

Fatal Crash location Ardmore Motorcross Track*Ardmore Quarry Rd*Ardmore

A tractor grading the motorcross track has collided with a motorbike travelling in the opposite direction.

As a result of the crash a 23 yr old male is dead, police have yet to notify NOK.

Police and OSH are investigating the incident.

Sorry you feel that way. I for one don't mind these posts. It gives us all a bit of time for reflection and at the same time offers the oppertunity to pass on our condolences to family or friends. Whether we like it or not we are all part of the biker commuinty irrespective of if we are KB members or not.

Location of incident: Ardmore

Incident Type: Fatal motorbike crash 14 Sept

Yesterday at about 1540 hrs David BEGG died at the Moto xtreme Yamaha raceway situated on Ardmore Quarry Road, Papakura after an incident where his motorbike he was riding has colided with a tractor that was harrowing the track.

David Begg is a 23 year old male, residing in Whitford, he was employed as a truck driver.

just not the kind of thing i like to see when thinking of bikes. Its not like their arent enough negatives out there anyway with people saying "its sooo dangerous" etc...

I know in my head that it is, and always think about it - i dont really want reminders.
