Speaking to riders after sections either they, or me would bring up my L plate, they weren't sure how I would respond, or I wasn't sure if they just wanted to pass me etc.
Except that I often heard the response "Well, I should actually have one of squares as well".
So, who has what? Just interested in how the ride was split up, I think there were only 2 L plates on the ride. Me and a lady riding a gn250.

First ride like that (identical one too...) didn't bother with it, second time I went on a huge ride I had been given 1.3k of tax /50dm so yeah I wore it. If you have 0 demerits I wouldnt really bother in the end for riding out there, AS LONG as you are not being a 'psycho' and asking for attention if it happens to (sometimes) be out there.
Got my restricted couple of weeks before that so... it's much less stressfull.. not that doing 90k's over is going to help your liscence last though.

Still trying to decide what to do with my L plate...it ruins the looks of the Bandit and marauding youths laugh at me:weep:
Trying to decide if it should have '...met with an accident while putting the cover on the bike officer; why, it's under the seat sir...'
Keeping my L while I decide...

I've only been on my full for about 9 months, on my learners for 12 or so years before that... Yeah, I'm lazy...

I think having the L plate strapped to the back of my bike would just invite trouble as its a 400 and I don't ride like an idiot when other traffic is around.

I have an L on the back, but just do 100 when I should. Works for me

Got my full license in Ireland ten years ago, which was very easy, might be harder now. Transfered to Kiwi full a couple of years back, just had to do the muti choice scratch test, which is a piece of piss.

Amateurs!
Got my restricted last week after 16 years on an L-plate!
Should be well into my 40s for my full at this rate! Maybe I'm a slow learner?
I have been beaten by a guy who’s been on his learners for the past 22 years tho!
For sale; One L plate, used once for about 20 minuets...
Go to the Quay St AA, Its $90 ($88 and change) but you don’t have to worry about being stopped and nailed for $400 and 25 points!
Of course in those 16 years I never rode or owned anything over 250cc, or carried a pillion, or was out after 10pm… Cant wait to see what 100kph is like!

Wheres Option 5 for no bike license? :/
Sorry, can't change it now, never even thought about that option. I didn't think anybody would be that naughty.
Man, am I surprised at the results, scary the proportion of learners without L plates...
You are all naughty naughty people. And not BJ-naughty either.
