Hi guys, how are you all?

Wondering if you can help a recently citizenized NZ newbie out.
I'm looking at buying a 1989 Honda VT250 SPADA, wondering what the value of one of these would be with 33,000 Ks on the clock?
About $2K?
Would parts be an issue to find with such an old bike?

Thanks in advance. :)

I'd be wanting to pay less for such an old bike personally, but the spadas are good bikes. For $2k though you could be looking at bikes 15 years newer.

Spada's are generally on Trademe between NZD 2300 and NZD 3000 and they never last long there.

Not too long ago a Spada was listed at NZD 1500, but that was in a bit rougher shape, I think.

I can really recommend them (unless you're really tall as they have quite a low seat height). I love my little bike. Mine has now about 39,000 km done and no problems other than that it needed an additional fuel filter. Haven't really had problems with parts yet. There is either generic stuff or something at the wreckers.

$2k is about right depending on condition. I might pay more for a nice one, they go better than modern 250s and aren't as high strung as the old 4 cylinders.
