Well my tin barrel rolled out of the van and split. Some of you guys buy time full and might have spare. I'll buy it from you if you have a spare. Going to Taumarunui is Auckland bring down?

OK here is the correction

Well my tin `barrel rolled` out of the van and split. Some of you guys buy them full and might have a spare. I'll buy it from you if you have a spare. Going to Taumarunui if Aucklander can bring it down?

OK the last sentence I was rushing off to get dinner.
Anyway if you funny kunz have finished poking fun. . .

Drinking then posting on Kiwi Bickerer is his go to pastime activity.

edit I posted the above after reading only the first 2 posts then on further reading saw alcohol was actually to blame.

I have to ask. What's wrong with the normal cheap plastic ones?

probably no branch of The warehouse/Supercheap/Mitre 10 in walking distance...

just be careful what the can is labelled...i know of a protest on fuel which was upheld just because it had been stored in an ELF rocket fuel can...unless of course you want to be deliberately misleading....

I tend to store for a while, plastic will lose end gasses quicker.

5 litre metal can at Bunnings - Victa or Victor petrol can? - $17 I cant quite remember

Just like the one my old man had when he mowed the lawns.

Is that what your after?, he used to have a rubber spout which helped with pouring.

thought of this as I was looking for a REDA brand petrol cans which are more motorbike suited for what I have in mind.

Go to the next speedway meeting down your way and ask any of the crews running, sprint cars, super saloons or saloons if they can spare one of their 44 Gallon drums.
Mostly they're filled with methanol, once empty they usually end up stacked outside whoever's workshop, garage or other place of car storage.
Most likely they'll let you have one or more free.
These drums are usually clean as a whistle and can hold any sort of volatile liquid quite comfortably.
