Two questions:
1) is anyone else going out to the open day at Puke this weekend (12th)? It'd be good to see a few familiar/new faces

2) Has anyone heard back from the organisers if they've registered? I sent them the money back in december and haven't got anything in the post yet. This wouldn't normally worry me but I've excelled myself by loosing the info sheet with the ph. number too.
:argh:

Time to hit the track again at Pukehohe this weekend. I hope to see many Kiwi Biker members out there on Sunday.

I guess I'm not the only one who has not received confirmation of my registration. Last Tracktime it didn't turn up until the last few days either.

May pop down there for a luck see if the weathers nice. Last time I registered I fell off my bike the week before (not the RSVR) and am not yet up to racetrack riding.

If it's wet it won't be much fun standing around all damp watching people tiptoe round the track on their pride and joy.

All my worries were for nought.
Murphys law was in full force on Friday as I prepared for the worst buying a rain suit for the track day on Sunday... and we all know how nice the weather turned for the weekend!

Had an awesome time (there's something deeply satisfying about overtaking 750's and 1 litre bikes in corners on a 14 year old 250!) and will be there in April for sure

For those that didn't come; you missed a great day!

It was a good weekend, wasnt it!
Great shot - was that one the organisers take?
I'll definitely be there April (--hmmm, this sounds a familiar refrain - I'd better put a cheque in the post right now before I find some chiselling excuse not to:rolleyes: )

Hmmm, may make the April one...not sure if I want people on dodgy old 250s making me look bad

Here's a pic of the haga rep in case you missed it.

I didn't take many photos, just being a slack bastard I spose. Enjoying the day too much :) I have also added the 2003 Playboy Biker Babe calenday to the gallery.

by gee, by gingo, by crikey, that's a damn sexy aprilia!:bigthumb:

I should mention that (in case there was any doubt) the riders I went round the outside of weren't REALLY pushing it! I was in the novice fast group (novice slow was even too slow for ME!) though so I don't rate myself a total greenhorn anymore.
