So I Got my RD400 project home. I have congratulated myself on how complete it is (although it needs a complete motor rebuild). Hit my first snag. Cylinder head is only held on by two bolts instead of eight! Anyone with a shed full of RD stuff prepared to part with six of these???? Message me with your price.

Call me a pedantic old B, Morgan, but those are actually sleeve nuts...

Take a sample with you and go to KG's when he reopens - they're common across the RD's and I'm pretty sure, the DT range too.

I'm pleased you're not just handing the problem to whoever's going to rebuild the motor though...

You're quite right, they are sleeve nuts. They also should have thick washers as well. I've found repro ones online at Yambits but over NZ$200.00 including shipping from the UK.
