Anybody ridden there and willing to give some feedback?
I am keen to find some new places to trail ride as close to Auckland as possible.
Tired of the Sandpit and Thundercross, plus it doesn't look like MotoX Central is opening its trail section anytime soon.

Did the Riverhead organized trail ride and that was awesome, nice tech sections and some hillclimbs etc. but you cant just go ride there whenever you want:brick:

$40/rider is getting up there if I read this correctly, better be pretty amazing for that kind of money:crazy:

Not ridden there but spoke to people who have.

Can't comment on the quality of the track, or whether they are/were novices or experienced riders, but they said they had a great time.

Seen some videos on YouTube looks shit. The website says mx track but from the videos it looks like a less than average trail ride

I had wondered this myself.

Shame MotoX seems to no longer open the Enduro tracks, I suspect they may be to hard to look after.

There was some people (looked like teenagers) riding what I think is there?? last time we where out the track. Didn't seem like much of an MX track to me?

On the weekend I had a good look that way and it looks flat ground.

A bit late to this but look at Maramarua, there are regular rides there and it matches Riverhead for knarly, especially in the wet. Greg power runs them, next is wednesday evening 28th Jan, of course there is Riverhead this friday evening, I will be practising my new trick of how to endo a bike during a log crossing, quite spectacular I'm told! Iain.

my guess with Tony Quinn buying hampton downs and saying he is going to complete it, the area where this was is going to get used,
