Morning All,
Thought I would introduce myself to the forum, as have been reading for a little while, but never signed up. Name is Brodie, 28 and living out in the South of Auckland. Motorbike is perfect for me, as im a part time worker/part time student in IT.
Recently picked up my 1st bike after learning to ride as a kid on a 250 trail bike that I couldnt even touch the ground with. Family was always resistant to me getting a bike, just worrying about the baby of the family.
I was a public transport user here in Auckland for the past year, and finally had enough of that crap, and went and picked myself up one of the brand new 2014 Hyosung X4s (http://hyosung.co.nz/lams-approved/x4.html). Over all so far Im happy with the bike, performs well and nothing to flashy for something to start out on until the license restrictions get removed.
Have clocked up just over 3000km on it already in the near 2 months of owning it, and riding confidence is increasing with even mroe time spent in the traffic of auckland, and out on the open roads.
Well anyway, thought I would say Hi, and will have to look into finding some people out my way to go on rides with (would be better to have a couple people while going out Hunua/Kaiaua loop)
