my GN250 is now up for sale though will have to wait a few weeks as its my only transport. now 'bout the bike. as stated its a 2004 with 6900km's. i have had pirelli sport demon tyres fitted and it now has heaps of grip. also i have fitted lower handle bars but standard ones come with bike. it has been dropped once but all damage has been repaired except right hand side cover where my steel caps broke it. this is a brilliant around town or short country ride bike, i am selling because it's not quite powerfull enough for me. if you are not a speed/torque freak then this bike would be the one for you. can get 250km's untill reserve tank easy around town. extremely easy to ride and come to grips with. yeah, the asking price is pretty average and it has brand new $300 tyres! great deal for the fuel economist! :ride:wont let me upload pics so send email adress if you want pics of her...

What was the problems with the gearbox you mentioned in the other thread?

some times it has takes a while to persuade into first. i noticed it depends on the angle of the ground and only happens when you turn on the bike. if you turn it on/off in gear there is no problem. it would most likely be a simple mater to fix so i've been told...other than that she's a beauty. iam trying to upload pics but it wouldn't let me, will keep trying. :wari:

It will be a long time coming before gearboxes are "a simple matter to fix"

The only reason I am uppity is that you are selling the bike that some newbie may well get and you neglect to tell them about it. And you say the bike is in mint condition. This poor bugger who buys it could be put off bikes because of untruthfulness.

That really doesnt instill my faith in some of mankind.

i see your point sniper. the gearbox problems dont seem to be major and i will get it further looked at again by a different mechanic, i certainly dont want a bad rep! its just the mechanic i saw said there were no big problems its just a simple matter of adjustment+some fidling. :ride: . i will point out to all people inerested that the problem is existent unless i fix it. and if you were wondering i dont have greasy hair and a little mostache. i cant grow a little mo...
